Snake with Foot

This snake was discovered in China in 2009 with a single clawed foot growing out from its body. The 16 inches long mutant reptile was found by Duan Qiongxiu clinging to the wall of her bedroom in suining with its talons. Mrs. Duan was so scared that has beat the snake to death with her shoe. Growing a foot is a very rare mutation for a snake they more frequently grow two heads and scientists are working to find out if the foot evolved from changes in the snake's environment.

Half Red and Half Green Apple

This apple truly is one a one of a kind grown in the village of Colaton   Raleigh in Devon, England by retired painter Ken Morrish, the apple colours are thought to have appeared owing to a random genetic mutation that has a million to one chance of occurring. People were desperate to see the half and half apple and even lined up outside his house to take a picture of it.

Rare Parrot Flower from Thailand

Impatiens psittacina, known variously as the "parrot flower" or "parrot balsam" is a species of balsam from Southeast Asia that was described by the botanist Joseph Dalton Hooker and was noted for its flowers that resemble a "flying cockatoo". It is known from Thailand, Burma and parts of India. The species grows in the wild in a small region of north Thailand (near Chiang Mai), Burma, and in the north-east Indian state of Manipur. It is called the parrot flower because its flower bears a resemblance to a parrot in flight when viewed from the side.

Shortest Man in the World

SINDANGAN, Philippines:
Junrey Balawing  a poor blacksmith's son was declared as the world's shortest man by Guinness World Records on his 18th birthday Sunday, sparking a celebration in his hometown.
Balawing measured 23.6 inches during the ceremony attended by about 100 villagers and journalists.
Guinness World Records representative Craig Glenday presented Balawing with official recognition of his status as the shortest adult man in the world, with the framed certificate.
He took over the title from Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal, who is 26.4 inches tall.
